Sports and Exercise Therapy is a strand of healthcare that specifically focuses on the prevention of injury and the rehabilitation of patients back to optimal levels of occupational, functional and sports specific fitness. The programme has roots within the core disciplines of Sport and Exercise Science but with specific skills and knowledge developed to work with clinical and non-clinical populations to prevent and rehabilitate injuries.
