This HTQ (Higher Technical Qualification) is a widely recognised and highly valued computing qualification that enables you to develop a range of higher level specialist technical skills and knowledge, enabling students to meet the demands of employers in the computing sector and to adapt to a constantly changing world.<br/><br/>This programme is a non-specialist pathway, which will cover a broad range of computing topics that may be encountered in modern business, and means you don’t have to commit to a particular professional specialism.<br/><br/>Students will benefit from our excellent cutting-edge computing facilities, small student groups and extremely supportive, industry-experienced teaching staff.<br/><br/>By completing this course, students will achieve an industry-recognised HND, which will enhance career prospects and your employability. <br/><br/>To complement your course you will:<br/>- Hear from a range of guest speakers from the computing sector<br/><br/><br/>- Attend a relevant trip<br/><br/><br/>It may be possible to gain additional vendor qualifications for example Cisco and CompTIA.<br/><br/>On successful completion of this course, you can apply to study an additional year at Bedford College to gain a full BSc (Hons) degree, progress to a university, or you can enter employment.
